Two bags of groceries for $2 could be yours at the New Waikato Show in the hourly Great Grocery Giveaway.
Sponsored by Pak'n'Save Mill Street and Clarence Street, and with funds raised going to the Lions Cancer Lodge, the Great Grocery Giveaway will see people buying a chance to compete to win up to two bags of groceries - every hour of the show.
Based on a feature of shows from many years ago $2 will buy a number - from 1 to 40 - a raffle wheel, similar to the one Lotto use, will be spun to choose a winning number.
The person with that number will go up on stage to answer three "easy" questions and win groceries as they succeed.
Up to three people will win each hour in this fun fundraising event.
