Award Winning Kiwi Kids Entertainers The Funky Monkeys top of the bill at the Waikato Show

Vibrant performers Chris, Neil, Joe, and Dizzy Dog, otherwise known as The Funky Monkeys, New Zealand's much-loved musical super-group for kids are to stage three performances at the New Waikato Show.

The Funky Monkeys have been a family favourite since 2003, providing high quality live musical entertainment for children and families throughout New Zealand.

In 2008, after five years of performing and building a strong fan base, they quit their day jobs to embark on an extraordinary Funky Monkey adventure, 365 days a year. Since then The Funky Monkeys have performed their unique interactive family entertainment to more than two million people.

Their shows are an exclusive blend of their original award winning music for kids, perfectly fused with the comical pulp of bumbling magic tricks, kazzo choirs, pantomimic mayhem and their renowned giant bubbles.

To top it off, their shows are brimming with opportunities for audience participation. The Funky Monkeys are big time believers in letting kids be kids so children (and their parents) are encouraged to dance, shout, sing, clap and generally add to the experience throughout the show.
