An antiques and collectibles fundraising estimation and information service to raise funds for the Waikato Breast Cancer Trust is a special feature of the new Waikato Show.

For a gold coin donation per item visitors to the Antique Fair at the show can have their special items appraised.

A special feature of the fair will bring childhood memories flooding back with a great interactive antique toy display for the children.

It will be fun seeing what we used to use, what was everyday for grandparents.

Dealers from all round New Zealand will be at the show selling everything from Victorian to retro - everything from postcards and books to clothes, furniture, jewellery, china, silver, pottery, linen, the odd and unusual, the frivolous and the investment will be for sale.
Organisers of the fair, Erik and Russell form Classic Promotions, say antiques and collectables are the ultimate in recycling - items that have survived many years, and are still useful, well made and a pleasure to use.

Social history is preserved, the ordinary and the extra ordinary, say Erik and Russell.
Waikato Breast Cancer Trust is a charitable trust enabling research and education into breast cancer. They investigate diagnosis, prevention and treatment.

They are participating in 30 different studies/clinical trials, including collaborating with international research groups.
So come to the show and bring your antiques and collectibles or just take a great trip down memory lane, regardless of your age, and look over the items others have for sale or bring in for expert evaluation
